CVD Coated Carbide Grades for Milling Cast Iron

Insert Grades For Cast Iron Milling: YBD152, YBD252, YBD203

Thick TiCN + Thick Al2O3 (CVD) Coated Carbide (Black Diamond Grade for Cast Irons)

Grade: YBD152 (ISO Class: K05-K25)

This is a general-purpose grade for cast irons milling. The CVD coating with medium thick Al2O3 and thick TiCN layer has excellent adhesion to the high-strength ultrafine tungsten carbide. It is suitable for finish through semi-finish milling of cast irons.

Grade: YBD252 (ISO Class: K15-K35)

The CVD coating with medium thick Al2O3 and thick TiCN layer on a high-strength tungsten carbide substrate. It offers an excellent combination of wear resistance and toughness. It is suitable for semi-finish through rough milling of cast irons.

Grade: YBD203 Cast Iron (ISO Class: K10-K30)

The CVD coating with TiCN and Al2O3 provides high toughness and high bonding strength. It offers excellent combination of wear resistance and toughness. It is suitable for univerasal purpose milling of cast iron, such as ductile iron and vermicular iron.
